And now I'm really thirsty.
Having never seen the movie, or any of the spinoffs that spawned from Frank Herbert's sci-fi classic series of novels, I'm always curious why this franchise isn't more successful. The world is so deep, full of political intrigue describing the endless battle between two great houses. The experiences of the Atreides family learning the way of life on the desert planet Arrakis is a colorful backdrop on which the war is painted.
Sadly, the second book took a really sharp violent turn into a ditch of confusion when they started trying to bring this whole Messiah story with Paul into the world.
I haven't really tried doing any landscapes or anything, so I figure I might as well start with the most barren of landscapes. I hate the clouds on the left, but the figure of the moon is pretty neat, even though yes, I know, Arrakis has two moons.
